What is Rush?
At the beginning of each semester, the Interfraternity Council designates a few weeks for a recruitment or "rush." During these weeks, potential members of both fraternities and sororities visit and take a bystander's perspective on what its like to be Greek. They experience a lot of the events that the organizations happen to put on, and when the process is over, the potential members are voted on. Should they be welcomed into the organization,a they receive a bid. From then on out, the rest is history...

Academics & Greek Life
Joining a fraternity is a big step in life. Here at Phi Kappa Theta, we know that the primary purpose of attending college is your education. Your membership to the fraternity should not affect that in any way and you can count on the brotherhood to help you with any academic struggles. Part of our process for being an Associate Member includes attendance at study hours during the week.
